Recently, Tesla introduced a new robot, or perhaps an upgraded version of an existing one. During the presentation, the robots even performed tasks typically handled by service staff. In reality, robotization has been happening for a while now, but Tesla is always in the spotlight.
As far as I know, the Optimus robot can be purchased for $20,000, but I haven’t seen it available for sale on the website yet. One thing is clear: in the next five years, many people will likely lose their jobs, especially in production, warehouses, and other monotonous tasks.
Luckily, robots will never replace marketers, as marketing is a creative field. They will never be able to work without a clear brief. So, if your business needs quality marketing services, I’m always at your disposal.
The main idea behind robots is that they are cheaper than human labor and can work around the clock. For me, as a fellow inhabitant of this planet, this should mean that if robots are cheaper, companies can save resources, lower costs, and eventually reduce prices for end consumers. However, today I see prices rising on food and other goods, so as a consumer, I don’t yet see any positive outcomes.
